dBm, the East Coast's largest factory-authorized service center for professional audio and musical equipment is seeking an experienced technician to troubleshoot and repair both digital and analog professional audio gear, including, but not limited to DAT, CD (players and burners), digital signal processors, analog signal processors, electronic keyboards, samplers and both analog and digital mixing consoles. Applicants must have AT LEAST 4 years experience servicing professional audio gear. Tech/Audio school grad preferred, though not required. Must have excellent soldering skills, including SMD rework, and working knowledge of applicable test equipment (e.g. DVM, oscilloscope, signal generator, etc.), plus a GOOD working knowledge of MIDI. Experience with setup and/or operation of Digital Audio Workstations is a big plus. Mac/PC literate. Neat work and attention to detail is essential. Tools and test equipment are provided.
This position is about 50-50 digital and analog servicing, so please do not respond unless you feel totally comfortable with both.
